With One Love. (The tie which binds.)
_________________________
I realize Dear Love,
that I often preach
my Souls desire for
all to soon be Free;
yet (none the less)
may the only amorous
beast who stalks your
sordid dreams be me!
Though I glamorize
Life's Loneliness from
my lair of Dark Despair,
I must confess a certain
fondness for your Smile,
and Raven's Hair.
Because in you I see
a Better Me, before
the rage and blood;
before My Angels
Lost their chastity
to drown in lustful
floods.
So when of Freedom
I do preach, my odd
sermon discludes you
and I; For our Souls
are bound now each to
each!
(with One Love the
tie which binds.)
