I felt it in the Breeze.
______________________
I felt it in the breeze last night.
A coldness laced in Shadows,
which cut me to the core; and
could not be warmed.( regardless
of the Light.)
Laughter from some Other Place
then echoed through my broken
mind; and I saw The Horror In Her
Face replaying from a Distant Time.
The Wind went from soft Whispers to
this Shriek with such great speed, that
I was sure some Strange Whistler
hid and played Cruel tricks on Me!
Yet Nothing but Darkness answered
when I called into the Night; and I felt
a chilling breeze, which could
not be warmed.
(regardless of the Light.)
